Valerie & Kurt's wedding day was filled with constant laughter. They were surrounded by an amazing wedding party who had the perfect combination of bringing the jokes, flattering and pumping up the bride & groom, and assisting in every way possible to ensure Valerie & Kurt had the most amazing day ever. It was SO MUCH FUN hanging out with this crew!

It was so adorable watching Valerie & Kurt interact on their wedding day. They are such a perfect pair! Both Val & Kurt were not only incredibly warm & welcoming, they are such a light-hearted, go-with-the-flow couple who love to laugh and have a good time with their favorite people. Their carefree & joyful attitudes made it a blast to photograph them - they were up for anything! And them being totally smitten with each other was definitely a perk, of course. :) These two are definitely in for a lifetime of happiness together. I am so honored to be a part of their celebration!

One last thing - a note definitely needs to be said about the incredible Walnut Ridge Venue itself. This venue instantly become one of my favorites in Iowa! Their Bridal Suite is epic with lots of getting ready space and lots of natural light. The Groom's Suite is stunning - probably my favorite that I've ever seen! - with it's natural light and masculine decor. The ceremony space is breathtaking and serene with a gorgeous view and the subtle sound of the pond's water fountain to provide a relaxing soundtrack to the ceremony. And the way it's positioned with the setting sun? Total *chef's kiss* right there! The interior of the reception space is bright, white, and full of natural light, and the patio and view of the setting sun at Golden Hour just adds to the perfection of this incredible space. Valerie & Kurt absolutely NAILED it when picking out their wedding venue!
