A Perfectly Bright Spring Wedding | Ames, Iowa

They say April 25 is the perfect date because it's not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket! And boy, was Miss Congeniality right about that one! Mariah & Jordan were blessed with the most perfect spring day for their wedding at Raspberry Hill. The sun was shining, the temps were warm & mild, and the bride and groom were head over heels in love. Now that's my kind of wedding day! Mariah was channeling serious princess vibes in her gorgeous wedding dress and Jordan looked insanely classy in his white tux. And his wingtip oxford shoes? Nailed it. These two were so stunning and so happy to be united forever. It was such an amazing day.

I swear my couples almost always plan something special for their wedding that brings tears to my eyes. For Mariah, it was probably having her grandmother serve in the role of Matron of Honor that was the sweetest touch. Well, that and having Mariah's mom sing "Landslide" during her first dance with her dad - there wasn't a dry eye in the house! I seriously work with the best and most thoughtful couples and these two were no exception.
