The weddings of high school sweethearts are truly some of my favorites. I love how connected both families already are and how deep and meaningful the toasts are. Everyone is just so excited to FINALLY get these two hitched! Well, Megan & Mike were no exception. It was a beautiful day filled with so many laughs, tears, and excitement of getting these sweethearts officially married. Everything ran so smoothly - from getting ready, to both first looks, to the ceremony at one of Des Moines' most beautiful churches, to cocktail hour back at Glen Oaks and an absolutely rockin' dance floor with vibes courtesy of KC Flo. The whole day was perfect, but what stuck out to me the most was how intentional Megan & Mike were about giving themselves alone time on their day. Everyone always says how fast your wedding day will go, and they are correct! How special and meaningful it was that ensured they had time to soak it all in, just the two of them. What an incredible celebration!
