An Artistically Beautiful Fall Wedding | Windsor Heights, Iowa

There were several moments of Hope & Sam's wedding where I was completely in awe... of Hope's artistic talents! She created all of the decor for her wedding - including every beautiful bouquet, the adorable wedding cake, AND the incredibly impressive window panes that were displayed at their altar. I was so impressed!

Their ceremony easily became one of my favorites that I've experienced. Beautifully officiated by Hope's brother-in-law, he shared touching stories about their relationship, how they bring out the best in each other, and how important their faith is in their marriage. These two have known each other since they were kids attending the same church in Urbandale, so there were A LOT of great stories about the two of them over the years.

But what I loved most about Hope & Sam's wedding day was witnessing their first look. Hope was feeling the wedding day stress that a lot of brides feel earlier in the morning while getting ready. But as soon as she was reunited with Sam, it was like her whole body relaxed. She was with her person. It was so cool to watch these two together, seeing how they truly do bring the best out in one another. It's definitely great assurance that their love is built to last!
